Controlling the Impact of Social Media on Sourcing

Social Media is pervasive in the enterprise today. This paper looks at the risks for enterprises and their service providers that result from the introduction of social media tools and platforms, especially those outside of corporate control into the sourcing environment. We also recommend a series of steps that should be taken by both enterprises and service providers to manage the risks and minimize the damage when things go wrong.
