Is Infosys stretching past the growing pains?
A couple of years ago, with a change in leadership including Vishal Sikka coming in as CEO, Infosys wanted to address the challenges in its internal processes. These challenges arose over a period of time, as the company grew rapidly in fast spurts, and not in a linear way, making it hard to develop a robust support infrastructure for its size.
In our recent research for the HfS Blueprint: Design Thinking in the As-a-Service Economy, we interviewed Richard Lobo, HR Head of Infosys Ltd. In addition to interviews with clients and by tapping into our network of service buyers, advisors and other HfS analysts, we thought it worth sharing what learned about an organization that has taken on a sincere and public effort to change.
