HfS Research CEO Phil Fersht to address NASSCOM on the Digital OneOffice™ Framework: The Future of Business Operations

February 12, 2018

Boston, London and Bangalore (February 12th, 2018) — HfS Research will lead the analyst keynote session at the NASSCOM India leaders Forum in Hyderabad on February 20th.  HfS CEO and Chief Analyst, Phil Fersht, will present "The Secret SourceDigital OneOffice Framework:  The Future of Business Operations" in an exclusive one-hour session for key stakeholders of the IT services industry.

Commenting on his session, Fersht explained, "We are now making that final shift from the traditional global sourcing model to intelligent operations, as the divisions between front, middle and back offices cease to exist, and will become, simply, OneOffice. In a few months, we won’t be talking nearly as much about automation, AI and digital technology as the critical value levers - they are being embedded into the fabric of the future operations platform for digital organizations. Instead, we will be talking a lot more about the Digital OneOffice, where the organization's people, intelligence, processes, and infrastructure come together as one integrated unit, with one set of unified business outcomes tied to exceeding customer expectations."

Fersht will draw on new research to plot the future roadmap of the Digital OneOffice organization, where the barriers between front and back offices are forever eroded and the needs of the digital customer can be supported - and predicted - in realtime. Fersht will discuss how the Digital OneOffice provides a meaningful framework of five fundamentals that must come together to create a real-time flow of data across customers, partners and employees:

  • Fundamental 1) - Fostering genuine Digital Customer, Partner and Employee Engagement
  • Fundamental 2) - Embedding Design Thinking Techniques to achieve Continuous Digital Outcomes
  • Fundamental 3) - Building a Scaleable Digital Underbelly that Automates and Digitizes
  • Fundamental 4) - Achieving an Intelligent Digital Support Function without Hierarchies and Silos
  • Fundamental 5) - Establishing Intelligent, Cognitive Processes that Promote Predictive Decision Making

Also attending NASSCOM is HfS Chief Operating Officer, Bram Weerts, who commented, "At HfS, we are proud to invest time with the global business operations and services communities and their leaders.
