From the innovation award at IBM Global Business Services / Dun & Bradstreet, over sales & marketing process improvement at Metastorm, to new customer-centric, outcome-based disruptive commercial models at Ooyala, Piksel and NeuLion for the media & broadcast industry. For more than a decade innovation, change, disruption, process improvement, digital and analytics have been a thread through Karel’s career. With Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Computing in the As-a-Service Economy, Digital Transformation and OneOffice the new drivers of disruption, he is excited to have joined HFS as the company that brings ‘the next big thing’.
Karel, a Belgian beer connoisseur, studied Physical Education & Kinesiology at the Leuven Catholic University – a fascination for and eagerness to learn about the motivational drivers of performance and success in a competitive environment. Living in Trumpington, Cambridge UK, he spends his spare time on his wooden boat ‘Silver Lining’ on the UK East Coast.
