Arindam Mukhopadhyay

Arindam brings over 20 years of leadership experience in global institutions, overseeing large-scale enterprise operations, technology, and finance. He spent 18 years at Citi, where he most recently led Global Business Services (GBS) and, within that, directly managed the Finance & Risk Shared Services. In this role, he led a team of 3,100 employees responsible for closing Citi’s $2.4 trillion global balance sheet, performing all accounting and reconciliation, managing SEC and US regulatory and liquidity reporting, and overseeing a $200M+ annual technology and AI investment portfolio.

Previously, Arindam led governance for Citi’s Global Capability Center (GCC) network of 30+ sites and 98,000 employees and was on the board of Citi's India subsidiary, providing oversight of the GCC network in India with ~40,000 employees. His diverse background also includes leading Citi's global Identity & Access Management operations of 1,200 employees covering 8,000+ applications. Prior to Citi, Arindam worked with American Express and was an Associate Partner at a boutique strategy consulting firm.

An alumnus of IIM Bangalore and IIEST, Arindam is a founding trustee of both institutions' 501(c) foundations in the US. A dedicated New Yorker, he lives in the city with his wife, Ratna, a textile and jewelry designer. Outside of the office, you’ll likely find him running in Central Park, reading fiction of all stripes and political history, or supporting the community through his board work with Sapna NYC and the Asia Society’s Global Talent Council. While he grew up in India, he famously breaks tradition by not following cricket.
