Dell Reinforces Private Growth Strategy

HfS analysts recently attended Dell’s analyst and advisor day in Bangalore, India. The event was focused on the company’s growth in India, primarily around its domestic business. As of now, Dell India has established thriving business units for the Enterprise market, the Software market, the End user computing market, and in the last 5 months, has made strides to broaden the Services business unit (especially Applications). Some themes at the event resounded with Dell’s overall strategy as an agile, privatized provider of end-to-end solutions. We discuss these overarching observations and implications in this PoV.
