You Can’t Get to Progressive…Without the Help of Enabling Governance Tools!

This PoV discusses three industry trends that are impacting how enterprises manage, or govern, their service delivery providers, both internal and external. The trends are the shift to a hybrid service delivery model, the desire to accomplish more strategic objectives, and the lack of talent to transform business services. These three trends make governance more complex, and require that enterprises increase their level of consistency in how outsourcing and shared services are managed, that limited governance resources are better leveraged, and that the volume of data from multiple sources is better managed and converted into meaningful information and analysis. The paper then highlights specifically how governance tools and enabling technologies address the three challenges and reduce barriers to overall Enterprise Governance maturity.
