According to a new research study by HfS Research and KPMG LLP, 49% of large corporations expressed their intent to migrate to a global business services (GBS) model over the next two years. In part, this means these enterprises will establish a centralized governance function that manages service delivery for multiple business-service functions. GBS also means that service delivery consists of multiple outsourcing providers operating in concert with shared services and internal groups in a hybrid environment.
