Sudhir Singh has only recently started manning the tiller that is NIIT Technologies, after joining them five quarters ago. In his own words, when he started entertaining the option of joining the IT-service-focused enterprise, what attracted him to NIIT was the mission, culture, and the company’s openness to adopting new strategies for success. Singh said, “In my exploratory meetings with the board at NIIT Technologies, it became very clear that the company, with its focus on integrity and people-centricity, had a belief system that I could relate to.”
Singh was convinced—and the board was convinced too—that he could leverage the strong values and culture that the firm was based on and sharpen the enterprise’s performance. With revenue, order book, and margins growing under his watch, Singh continues investigating new technologies he can use to improve both NIIT Technologies’ growth, but also that he can recommend to his clients. Here are his takes on what the next three to five years hold for the wider markets and, especially, on the future of technology and operations.
