Sudip Roy

Sudip is a Practice Leader at HFS, covering banking and financial services alongside F&A and managed services. He is based in London, UK.

Sudip brings almost two decades of experience spanning consulting, technology and business transformation, a large part of it inside banking and financial services. He has worked with three of the world’s largest global banks, and the largest building society in the UK. Sudip has been in advisory roles, shaping the case for change, and in delivery leadership roles accountable for carrying it through. His recent work in implementing GenAI and process intelligence across a tier 1 bank gives him the hands on experience of the current challenges in adopting emerging technologies.

He has worked across global systems integrators, including TCS, Infosys and Wipro, and independent advisory, helping organisations rethink operating models, Finance & Accounting transformation, managed services and, more recently, the practical adoption of AI. Outside financial services, his work has covered healthcare, the public sector and professional services.

Alongside his client work, Sudip has maintained a strong interest in learning, research and teaching. He holds a master’s degree in supply chain management from the University of Lincoln and has undertaken executive study in Artificial Intelligence and Design Thinking at the University of Oxford. He also lectures occasionally and enjoys translating emerging ideas into practical strategies that organisations can apply.

Outside work, Sudip is a keen golfer, and he volunteers with the county under-14 golf team. He lives in London, with his wife, Antara, and their son, Raunak, who do an excellent job of reminding him that there is life beyond operating models and AI.
