HfS Blueprint Report: Workday Services 2016


In the 2016 HfS Workday Services Blueprint Report, we analyze the capabilities and vision of sixteen Workday services partners. This includes their skills across the HfS Workday Services Value Chain of: Plan, Implement, Manage, Optimize and Operate for all the Workday applications. 



  • Demand for both the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Workday Financial Management (FM) applications continues to grow, from all sizes of enterprise, as well as from those headquartered outside of North America, notably Europe and Asia Pacific.
  • There has been some consolidation in the Workday services market since we published the Workday Services Blueprint Report in 2015. For example, Aon Hewitt acquired Kloud, KPMG acquired Towers Watson HR Service Delivery Practice IBM acquired Meteorix, and Mercer acquired CPSG.
  • Service providers continue to invest in developing and strengthening capabilities across the HfS Workday services Value Chain. In particular, many service providers are investing in their management services capabilities as demand for post deployment support services increases.
  • Service providers have invested in talent acquisition and retention programs to meet the continued challenge of talent shortage in this market. Buyers are asking to interview the specific delivery teams in the service provider selection process. This puts additional pressure on service providers to have sizeable teams of experienced consultants. 



  • Executive leaders and HCM and Finance business unit leaders, IT Directors, Application Services Directors and outsourcing managers in all industry sectors.
