Key highlights
  • Accenture acquired Advoco, to expand its enterprise asset management (EAM) capabilities. The team joins the Accenture’s Industry X group bolstering its of services for digitizing clients’ engineering and maintenance functions, factory floors and plant operations.
  • Accenture made its second acquisition of the month by acquiring BRIDGEi2i strengthening its data science, machine learning and AI-powered insights capabilities. Accenture made its third and fourth acquisition of the month by acquiring Xoomworks Group and Glamit to enhance its digital transformation capabilities.
  • Later this month Accenture acquired BCS Consulting to enhance its Financial Services Strategy and Consulting practice in United Kingdom.
  • Atos acquired a Czech Republic based data science company DataSentics, strengthen its AI/ML and Computer Vision portfolio with new AI-intensive products and data science capabilities.
  • CGI acquired an IT and business consulting firm, Cognicase Management Consulting to strengthen its footprint in Spain and enhance the company’s client-proximity model. CGI also acquired Array Holdings to expand its federal footprint and bolster its digital modernization and DevOps capabilities.
  • Deloitte acquired Sliced Tech, an Australian leading data security and cloud solutions service provider, to strengthen its cloud services in the Public Sector market. Deloitte also acquired Odysseus, to boosts its ServiceNow capabilities. Later Deloitte acquired Magia, a leading Oracle Cloud consultancy to strengthen its footprint in Australian market.
  • IBM acquired Adobe Workfront consulting unit and assets from Rego Consulting Corporation, to bolster its hybrid cloud and AI strategy and capabilities.
  • PwC acquired an Australian cybersecurity firm WebSecure Technologies, to strengthen its scale and end-to-end Cybersecurity Advisory and implementation offerings
  • Tech Mahindra acquired Lodestone, a digital engineering quality assurance provider and WMW, a digital commerce agency for $105 Million and £9.4 Million respectively. Lodestone will strengthen Tech M’s end-to-end digital product engineering capabilities and the acquisition of WMW will enhance its experience design pillar capabilities.
