Accenture executed its first planned acquisition in South Africa, the King James Group. The acquisition of one of the largest African independent creative agencies will strengthen Accenture Interactive’s creativity in the region.
Accenture also acquired BENEXT, a full-stack product consulting company, adding to its investments in cloud-first capabilities. Later in the month, it also acquired Brazilian firm Experity to reinforce its offerings in customer experience (CX) and cloud-based e-commerce services.
Accenture acquired Gevity to expand its capabilities to deliver health transformation services in Canada and internationally.
Persistent acquired Software Corporation International and Fusion360 for $53 million to enhance its existing BFSI expertise and client portfolio by forming a new payments business unit. It also acquired cloud and infrastructure experts, operations centers, and digital assets from Shree Partners to strengthen its cloud and IT infrastructure capabilities in BFSI and the travel and hospitality market.
Mphasis acquired design consultancy Blink interactive for $94 million to provide well-researched design and high-impact digital experiences to its clients and their end customers.
Capgemini acquired VariQ, bolstering its position in the federal market and software development, cybersecurity, and cloud service capabilities.
KPIT acquired Germany-based Future Mobility Solutions, an embedded software developer for the mobility industry, to enhance its unique proprietary offerings in the autonomous driving domain and strengthen its footprint in Germany.
PwC Canada acquired Avaleris, a Canada-based Microsoft identity, security, and cloud service provider, to strengthen its cybersecurity and cloud transformation offerings using next-gen capabilities.
