  • Cognizant acquired digital engineering assets from Hunter Technical Resources, strengthening its talent base across full-stack development, machine learning, DevOps, systems architecture, and data science capabilities.
  • Deloitte made its fifth cyber acquisition of 2021 by acquiring cybersecurity business aeCyberSolution. This acquisition will reinforce Deloitte’s capabilities with well-tested frameworks, methodologies, and technology-enabled tools for industrial control systems and operational technology (ICS/OT) security.
  • Deloitte also acquired Entigence in August, bolstering its analytics and cloud data management capabilities to serve its higher-education sector clients.
  • Salesforce acquired Servicetrace, which joined the Mulesoft team post-acquisition. This transaction will enhance its robotic automation capabilities where line of business and knowledge workers can automate business processes.
  • ServiceNow accelerates its database operations by acquiring Berlin-based database performance software company Swarm64. This acquisition will significantly expand the features and functionalities of the Now Platform.
  • EPAM acquired Colombia-based software development services provider S4N, strengthening its footprint in Latin America and further expanding its digital modernization capabilities.
  • Accenture boosted its IT benchmarking, sourcing, and advisory capabilities by acquiring Berlin-based company LEXTA. Accenture made its second acquisition of the month by acquiring Blue Horseshoe, enhancing its customer-centric supply chain transformation capabilities.
  • Cisco acquired Israel-based application monitoring firm Epsagon, expanding its advanced full-stack observability strategy capabilities.
  • ManpowerGroup acquired Ettain Group, one of the largest privately-held IT resourcing and services providers in North America, for $925 million. This transaction will diversify its business mix into higher growth and higher value services, continuing its expansion in the US.
  • SAP acquired the AI-powered human resources platform SwoopTalent to boost talent data intelligence and bolster its AI capabilities.
