Key highlights

• Atos acquired IDEAL GRP to boost its PLM and engineering services and expand its footprint in Northern Europe. Atos acquired Nimbix to strengthen its high-performance cloud computing and Visual BI for its cloud data-related capabilities.
• Capgemini reinforced its business in Australia by acquiring Empired and Acclimation. The acquisition of Empired will supplement its cloud transformation services, and the Acclimation acquisition will strengthen its SAP capabilities.
• HPE acquired Zerto, a cloud data management and protection platform, to expand its cloud data service offerings.
• IBM acquired Bluetab and Boxboat to enhance its hybrid cloud consulting and implementation services. The acquisition of Bluetab will also further add to its data service consulting practice.
• Deloitte invested in enhancing its systems engineering and public sector cyber offerings by acquiring Sentek Consulting. It also acquired TransientX to bolster its existing Zero Trust offerings and solutions.
• Cognizant reinforced its end-to-end smart factory capabilities by acquiring Ireland-based TQS Integration. This acquisition will boost its Industry 4.0 consulting and service offerings and strengthen its presence in the European life sciences and manufacturing markets.
• EY acquired SecureWorx to strengthen its cybersecurity offerings. This acquisition will provide EY’s clients access to 24×7 security managed services onshore in Australia, with cleared personnel and facilities.
