Paras Chugh is an Associate Practice Leader at HFS Research, with nearly a decade of experience in market research and strategy consulting. He focuses on emerging technologies and the media and entertainment space. His work drives sustainable growth and impactful business outcomes for enterprises and service providers to navigate adoption, transformation, and market shifts.
Paras heads the Media and Entertainment vertical for HFS Research. Before joining HFS, he worked as a Strategy Consultant at Accenture Strategy, advising tech-led media organizations on their go-to-market strategy, content and platform optimization, revenue activation and diversification, strategic partnerships, vendor management, and growth transformation programs. Prior to this, he held a strategy consulting role at EY-Parthenon, where he supported product strategy, growth initiatives, and market assessments for media and consumer technology companies. He also brings strong analyst experience from Everest Group, contributing to IT and digital services research, including benchmarking assessments and thought leadership. He began his research career as an intern at Deloitte, where he co-authored an industry co-branded report with NASSCOM.
Paras holds an MBA from IIM Sambalpur, where he developed a strong foundation and earned academic distinction in market research. He also has a bachelor’s degree in information technology. He has developed deep subject matter expertise in the media and entertainment and life sciences verticals as well as horizontal expertise in cloud transformation, data privacy, and emerging digital technologies.
Outside of work, Paras is an avid sports enthusiast with a strong interest in basketball, football, and Formula 1. He likes spending quality time with family, engaging in live events, and exploring cultures through travel.
