Governing As-a-Service

Enterprises are looking to rethink the business services they deliver and how they delivery them. As-a-Service solutions, architected in the cloud, have become very popular and are being evaluated by a number of enterprises. Since service providers have been slow to get on the bandwagon and make the investment in these solutions, many enterprises are starting to do it themselves. However, the adoption of As-a-Service solutions pose a number a challenges for governance organizations including communication & change management, data aggregation & reporting, and managing the transition to the As-a-Service future state. This paper looks at each challenge and offers recommendations on how they should be addressed.
