HfS Research recently reviewed the various process service delivery (PSD) methodologies that BPO service providers have developed, in order to assess their potential in helping enterprises develop more effective outsourcing services beyond labor arbitrage-based legacy solutions.
One of the PSDs we reviewed was Wipro’s Base))) business operations platform, which consists of three components designed to drive greater value from BPO delivery for clients. With the pending arrival of the “As-a-Service Economy,” which HfS believes is fundamentally impacting the delivery of business processes over the next few years, we decided to return to take a deeper look at Wipro’s Base))) and evaluate how it aligns with where BPO delivery is going.
