Based on the mindshare survey results, HfS concludes that the vendors IT executives prefer for Business Intelligence and Big Data in 2013 are as follows: (a) SAP, (b) Google, (c) Oracle, (d) SAS, and (e) IBM. Overall, this market has an interesting mix of product vendors and service providers. This makes it one of the first markets where there is no longer a clear separation between products and services. HfS believes that other markets will follow that example in the near future.
