Workday held its flagship event, Workday Rising Europe, in Vienna in November 2018. This is a regional version of the Global Workday Rising event that took place in Las Vegas in October 2018. The European event attracted 2,500 delegates, the largest audience yet for the SaaS ERP platform provider. At the event, Workday presented its innovation strategy for product feature development, its new product packages, and its plans to be more open to partners’ help when enhancing core solutions. It also communicated expansion plans; for example, Workday expanded its London and Dublin offices and opened new offices in Milan and Johannesburg, with the expectation of business growth in these regions.
